I can't believe I'm blogging. Get ready for about 60 seconds of unadulterated awesome.

I'm a single mom (insert ridiculous stereotype here) to a 4.75 year old boy -- and that 'and three-quarters' at the end is very important to him, which is why I include it here. So, fittingly, this blog really should be titled 'According to Connor'. But, I won't give him the satisfaction. As for me, I like to call myself a full-time 'professional' college student. With the economy the way it is right now, (and by 'way it is' I mean turning average people into nut jobs for fear of our world getting sucked into a black hole -- understandably so -- maybe?) I figure I will just stick to school and enjoy not having to shank the other 467 people who would be vying for the exact same job, for which, I am almost positive we would all be overqualified for anyway. I live in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, where I see farm machinery and animals that would most likely scare the living @!$# out of someone from New York City. But, I love it here and wouldn't trade it for anything. I have lots of family. They are about 2/3 awesome and 1/3 effed up. But who's isn't? My sisters are fantastic. My best friend is truly the best. My kid is life-altering amazing. But, as I figure all of this out I am sure you will hear more about all of that later.

So, this is my blog. I can't even come up with a blog name. (it's like naming a child, I swear.) I guess I could call it queenofrunonsentences.com or gramaticaldiarrhea.com. I've seen friends blogs before and they are definitely a labor of love. Do I like to write? Not really. Especially not when I have to. This won't be an everyday thing, but I like the idea of having an outlet to....well...pretty much let it all out. People that blog sortof remind me of those people who have seriously boring lives and send out an informative Christmas letter. Sorry if you do that. I am hoping to avoid offending anybody so I am going to just apologize ahead of time. I can't think of anybody who would be interested in what I have to say but if you are...here we go. Enjoy!
